An AI skill for parametric furniture modeling in Fusion 360. I didn't really write a line of code — Claude did — but I engineered the tool alongside the agent, translating how I actually design and build furniture into something the agent can execute repeatably.
It's the one non-woodworking project on this site, and it exists for a simple reason: I wanted to share the way I think about joinery and proportions with fellow woodworkers who might find it useful.
What it does
- Parametric joinery — dovetails, mortise & tenon, box joints
- Drawer and case construction
- Furniture modeling driven by an agent, not a menu
- Designed from a hand-tool woodworker's perspective
